Owners

  • Drive Coach: checklist, RP choices, driver cues
  • Pit Lead: inspections, spares, batteries
  • Strategy Lead: match plans and RP choices

Risks and mitigations

  • Risk: Late checks cause delays. Mitigation: enforce checklist timing; assign checklist owner.
  • Risk: Missed RP opportunities. Mitigation: decide RP route pre-match; adjust only with data.

Priorities (P0 must, P1 should, P2 stretch)

  • P0: Pre-match checklist every match; RP route chosen per match; autos/climb sanity checks; no missed matches.
  • P1: Daily bumper/wiring inspections logged; consent reminders posted; video/metrics logging active.
  • P2: Extra practice if time allows before travel/event.

Time tracking tips

  • Keep pre/post-match tasks timed; if they slip, simplify steps.
  • Log RP choice decisions to review after each block of matches.

Tips for students

  • Stay consistent: same pre-match flow every time reduces mistakes.
  • Take quick notes after each match while memory is fresh.

Tips for mentors

  • Be the timekeeper for pre-match; keep the team moving.
  • Help prioritize fixes between matches; avoid low-impact tweaks.
